| 10:30 | Thanksgiving Sunday, Sung Holy Communion, St John's Boldre | We celebrate, at 8.00am in St Nicholas’ and at 10.30am in St John’s, Thanksgiving Sunday. At these services we thank God for his blessings and for all who support St John’s and St Nicholas’ with labour, cash and attendance. The ‘sermon’ will be in verse, and after the 10.30am service, as well as coffee, there will be a glass of phizz for those who appreciate a merry burp or two. Bring along a savoury snack, if you like. CHURCHWARDENS AND COUNCILLORS Our AGM granted us Dr Sally James & Chris Knox as our Churchwardens. Our Councillors are: Geoffrey Breeze (PCC Secretary), Fiona Bruce, James Brushwood, Graham Edmiston, David Joseph, Ruth Liley, Richard Pickance, Richard Tolkein (Treasurer), Nick Walford (Safeguarding Officer). At the 10.30am Thanksgiving Service we will swear and pray them in. Hopefully all can be present. We are grateful to one and all of them for accepting nomination | |
